Submissions

Home

The content of the Catholic Worker Journal is created primarily by submissions.  So, naturally, submissions are welcomed and encouraged.  We do ask that the Submission Guidelines below are followed whenever possible to make the job of updating the Journal as efficient as possible.

Submission Guidelines

1.  Please submit information electronically.  If this is truly impossible, please phone one of editors and speak with us.

2.  Please include complete contact information with your submission, including name, email address, snail mail address, and phone number.  Also include the name of the Catholic Worker community to which you belong, if applicable.

3.   Please let us know when a submission is outdated, such as when a resource is found, a service is no longer needed or offered, etc. so we can take that post down.

Subscriptions

You do not have to subscribe to CWJ to read it.  The advantage to subscribing is that we will email you (no more than once per week) the headlines of the current issue when it is updated..  Those making submissions generally are expected to subscribe.

Comments:

Comments following articles must include the identity and the email address of the person making the comments.  Anonymous, vulgar or ad hominem attack remarks will be deleted.

Notices

This section is intended for sharing between Catholic Worker or affiliated intentional communities.  Commercial posts will not be printed unless the service is pro-bono or offered at a drastically reduced or barter price.

Obituaries

Please include the date of death and a place where condolences may be sent if possible.
